How central it was and comfortable

It was the perfect location for everything. Lots of restaurants , cafes and shops on the doorstep and within walking distance of all major attractions. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. Communication from the host was very good during the day. We would stay again for the convenient location.
The staircase was very dark in places.
We heard everything in the room next door even though they were not particularly loud - just generally chatting.
The emergency telephone number was not answered when there was an issue through the night when we tried to access our room and someone else was in it. This caused a great deal of stress with our booking being cancelled and us having to rebook to keep the room. Although this was not the immediate fault of the host, if the phone had been answered, the issue could’ve been rectified sooner. It might be a good idea to change the self check in procedure so not everyone has access to everyone else’s apartment keys.

The location is gold. It's only a few minutes walk away from some of the important tourist attractions. There's also a lot of restaurants and shops around within walkable distance. The staff also helped us order an airport pick up, which is very helpful. The air conditioner is extremely refreshing in the Italian hot summer.
The ceilings of the two bedrooms are connected with the hallway, where the sofa bed is, so there is less privacy. Most importantly this makes the rooms less soundproof. We can hear very clearly what the person in another room is doing. This is more serious when one of us snored very loudly and we could not sleep. There should be some description about how the rooms are designed before we book.

Great location!
Not clean! There’s mold all in the walls of the shower and bathroom, and the beds were awful. They ‘cleaned our room’ once in our 3 night stay, didn’t replace any toilet paper, and TURNED OFF THE AC! We got back from being out (it was 38 degrees) and the room was warm!! There is no staff there except for a few hours a day so we had to go buy toilet paper. They also would not let me pay the tourist tax in cash, as it was online only, but then they charge you a €4.10 fee for using the online system…… I understand it’s only a few euros but we bring cash to places for a reason!
