We loved how big the place was and in a very central place. Everything is walkable. Easy to get to via trains.
The rooms were little small but having a big living room and 1.5 baths really worked well

Super central location, right in the middle of the city. The apartment is comfortable and well equipped. Aircons working fine - you definitely need it while spending summer nights in Madrid!
One aircon was very noisy and making a strange sound. The noise from the street never stops and you can hear it all night long from the room that is facing the street.

Excellent location. The whole of the city center, the main attractions and the museums were within a walking distance away from the apartment. The cortes ingles supermarket, specialty coffee stores, and the puerta del sol metro station were also very close to the apartment. For a family of four this was an excellent choice for our holiday trip to Madrid. Although we visited the city during the end of the summer, the airconditioning system of the apartment was more than enough to provide us with a pleasantly cool environment.
The area is centrally located so during the night it becomes rather crowded and we had to tolerate litter from the night before during our morning walks. But nothing disturbing to the actual experience of the apartment. This is a problem of the city mostly that we encountered during our staying in Madrid several times.

Location. Updated kitchen. Good windows muted sound from street.
The layout was awkward (long hallway from kitchen to dining table). Very small bathroom (no where to hang clothes. Only one towel rack). Small bedrooms. Had to carry suitcases up a flight of stairs to get to the elevator. Not ideal for an 86 year old with a heart condition.
