The location was beautiful
There was a giant hole in the door and walls of our room, letting in every bug, lizard, monkey, and rodent. The staff laughed at us when we asked for a towel to cover the holes with. The rooms had a “no food” rule so ants wouldn’t be a problem, so we asked the staff to put our food in the fridge and they left it on the ground. When we got our food back, it was covered in ants. The staff also asked if they could take our luggage out of the room if our tour was back late on the day of checkout. We said no problem as long as it was put in a locked room. They assured us it would be. When we came back from our tour, our bags were out in the open, next to a wasp nest. Also, the listing states that there is AC. There is no AC. It is a useless fan. Stay here if you like being covered with bugs and waking up to rodents staring at you.

Матрас очень неудобный, нет простынок чтоб укрыться (одеяла есть, но укрываться ими неприятно).
Взяла дополнительно массаж за 400 батт и тут одно разочарование:
Просила спину+шею, делали все тело;
Специального места для массажа нет, выделили подсобное помещение с грязным матрасом, рядом с которым находится кухня: Звон посуды, громкое общение 👎👎👎
Массажистка чатилась и общалась по телефону прямо во воемя процесса.
В итоге никакого релакса.
Завтрак приемлемый, но цена в 180 батт великовата для яичницы с тостами и двух кексов. Кофе нам не очень понравился.

Die Matratze war eine Katastrophe (total durchgelegen), 1 Fließdecke als Bettdecke, das Zimmer war extrem klein (natürlich ist hier jedoch der kleine Preis zu berücksichtigen). Ohne organisierte Ausflüge oder Taxi kommt man nirgends hin da es sehr abgelegen ist, was es aber auch wunderschön und urig macht. Muss man eben mögen, genauso wie das ausschließlich kalte Wasser in der Hütte. Man darf keine Angst vor Tieren haben die sich hier rund um und in der Hütte aufhalten können (Affen, Schlangen, Kakerlaken, Spinnen etc.)

We rented this property for a traditional Thai nature experience, and we got one hell of an experience!
Amazing location: right below a limestone cliff, in the middle of the jungle. (Completely safe though)
Delicious food: the food was amazing, both the breakfast and the dinner.
Lovely and friendly hosts: the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The owner, Jonathan, and his partner, Kanyada, were more than wonderful. Extremely welcoming and hospitable, respectful, and friendly.
Cleanliness, comfort, and authenticity: the cabin was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The cabins are built out of bamboo just like the native Thai’s used/still to live in.
Activity: we booked a full day tour that picked us up from the hotel to a pier, went in a boat across Khao Sok National Park, had lunch on a floating restaurant in the lake, we could swim or go kayaking there for free, we discovered Pra Kai Petch Cave that was a natural miracle, and we hiked through the river and the jungle. A breath taking experience.
Value to price: it was worth every penny, best value to price experience I’ve had in Thailand.
What I didn’t like is that I didn’t know what a wonderful experience it is and we booked only one night.

Det er virkelig en smuk beliggenhed og maden er rigtig god. Der er meget at vælge imellem. Dog lidt simpel morgenmad.
Vores rum var desværre meget klamt, fugtigt og lugtende. Det var svært at sove i det meget fugtige og indelukket rum.

El entorno de las cabañas precioso. Rodeado de naturaleza, hay una cueva y un río en la propiedad.
Llevar cuidado cuando llueve. En temporada de lluvia se llenan los caminos de agua, pero es lo normal. Alejado de los restaurantes hay que alquilar moto o pedirles que os lleven. Por lo demás bien.

Przede wszystkim bardzo gościnny i pomocny gospodarz. Ogólnie cały personel bardzo uprzejmy, uczynny i profesjonalny. Czuliśmy się zaopiekowani :) Miejsce ma świetny klimat oraz super położenie (mimo, że daleko od miasteczka, ale to tylko na plus). Dźwięki w nocy z dżungli niesamowite! Pokój czysty, wygodne łóżko. Zabrakło mi półek czy wieszaków, ale to nie jest duży minus, a jedynie sugestia. W pokoju bardzo wilgotno, nic nie schnie ale już taki klimat dżungli szczególnie we wrześniu ;) Na miejscu wykupiliśmy wycieczki, były w porządku. Jedzenie w restauracji bardzo smaczne. Nieco drogo, ale cenowo w sumie nie odbiega aż tak od tego w miasteczku. Natomiast cena noclegu nas zaskoczyła! Super doświadczenie za niską cenę.

Everything was amazing, the resort looks great, the hosts are friendly and helpful. Unfortunately for us the location was a bit too far out of town (where the restaurants are) because we didn't have a motorbike.

We loved it at the Silver Cliff Resort from the beginning and extended our stay right after our first night. The owners are fantastic people who built and run the place with a lot of passion. They helped us with everything, rented a motorbike for us, got us taxis and booked our tours as well as our trip to the next island. The food ist great as well. Also, the bungalows are pretty special. Of course, it is simple but we had everything we needed and felt very comfortable. Thank you, Mimi and Jonathan, we will come back for sure!

lots of bugs can get into the room at night. this can be reduced by avoiding keeping the light on. I’m thinking maybe some bug proofing can be put on the outside of the bungalow like the netting you get on doors

Calvin and Jonath, the two owners of this beautiful place are very helpful and nice. They manage everything to make our time there very cool and easy ! They organize a Tour from scratch in the Khao Sok National Park and around the Lake wich is beautiful. The staff is also very kind and the food is good also !

Loved our stay here, the staff were lovely, the price was great. It's right next to a cliff that we saw monkeys and other wildlife on it was really cool. It's definitely in the jungle, so great for wildlife lovers. Restaurant was reasonably priced, and food was nice. We had a really short stay, so it was handy booking trips through them as we were ready to go straight away. we used all our time. Wish we could have stayed a bit longer. Having not been before initially I was a bit concerned it would be out of the way but it was fine.
Could be more veggie options on the menu in the restaurant (they did make everything we asked for vegetarian on request)

We had the most loving time here, the people of the resort were so friendly. They will do anything to make your stay perfect. The food was insane good, the bungalow is really nice, we had an outdoor shower and toilet. One word: AMAZING!

We had a great stay at Silver Cliff, and Calvin and Johno were really helpful and welcoming. The location is about a five minute drive from the main village so having your own transport is helpful if you want to go out. It’s really beautiful though, with the mountain behind and cave underneath. They’re even building a jungle gym! We booked an overnight lake trip through Silver Cliff, which was great fun. The family bungalow is comfortable and spacious. Overall a great place to stay.
There are a few bugs around, but it wasn’t a big problem and in fact helped my daughter get over her spider fear!

The hospitality was impeccable. To say you feel like a valued customer is an understatement.
In addition to this, Calvin one of the owners contacted me after I had left to let me know that I had left a necklace behind in the room. He drove from silver cliff to my new accomodation just to return it to me.

Thé place is vert quiet and family size "resort". Nature is présent everywhere around thé bungalows, appreciate that.

Fantastic location nestled up against an imposing cliff face. Cute little bungalows and fantastic food. highlight was the owners (Calvin and Jonathan), they couldn’t have done more to make us feel welcome and ensure we had a great stay. They organised all our excursions, sat and chatted with us and even drove 1.5 hours to return our friends phone which she left when checking out. Nothing is too much bother. the other thing I would say is that the location is perfect, it’s off the main drag, away from the hustle and bustle which was perfect for us. But still close enough to a little shop and food shack if you wanted to get supplies.
