We loved the cabin; the host met us when we arrived and gave us a short tour of the town (Dalvik) so we could get our bearings and find the associated hostel where we could shower. We really appreciated having a friendly local contact if we had questions or needed anything. The shared hot pot tub and sauna near the cabins were great for relaxing and the public beach is a short walk away. The fish soup dinner at the associated cafe nearby was amazing as well.

Wir waren im alten Farm House. Ein herrliches Original, und Bjarni war ein sensationeller Gastgeber. In seinem Café im Dorf gab es eine wunderbare Fischsuppe. Für alle, die das Echte lieben, ist diese Unterkunft ein Must.
Nichts auszusetzen.

Unkompliziert, der Hot Pot hat sehr viel Spaß gemacht, gut ausgestattete Küchenzeile.
Die Outdoordusche könnte einen Sichtschutz vertragen, so musste man in der von allen Seiten einsehbaren Landschaft duschen. Das Haus schien etwas lieblos gestaltet zu sein, die Treppe war kaputt - man hätte stürzen können, in den Laken waren Löcher, der Holzfußboden hatte defekte Stellen, an denen man sich Splitter einreißen konnte.

Die Bewertung von Booking 8,9 hat nicht unseren Erwartungen entsprochen. Diese Unterkunft hat 2 verschiedene Ausstattungen, die auf den Bildern gemischt sind. Man erfährt auf der Webseite nicht welche Ausstattung man gebucht hat. Man kommt an und ist enttäuscht, weil man eine Ausstattung von 8,9 erwartet und nicht für eine Bewertung von 8,9, 700 m zu einer normalen Dusche fahren muss. Die vorhandene Dusche neben dem Bungalow ist draußen ohne Sichtschutz und für Schampoo nicht geeignet. Straßenlärm war zu hören und es war sehr fußkalt. Für große Menschen ist das WC-Kabine zu klein.
