Excellent birding. Great place if you are a birder. Rooms were comfortable particularly as this is so far out. If you bird would 100% recommend a birding trip with Jaganth.
You need to appreciate nature to enjoy this fully. You will be in the rainforest and so you need to anticipate there will be rain, some bugs etc. it is a good place but know you are staying in a remote hotel made for nature viewing.

A unique experience in the heart of the rainforest. Our room had exceptional views on all sides, was modern and clean with big comfy beds. As you’d expect in a rainforest, it was cloudy and damp at times, but we really got to immerse ourselves in the sounds and atmosphere of the first. A truly wonderful stay unlike anywhere else in Sri Lanka. We did some great guided walks.

The tour guide taking us for a couple of excursions was great, very knowledgable, and passionate about the forest and its ecosystem, he was fantastic. The Staff is doing their best to make you feel comfortable as always.
Unfortunately I can't recommend...value for money is not there, totally overpriced compared to the standards of luxury hotels you can find in Sri Lanka. Clearly overpriced and accommodation are getting hold and would need a refresh.
