Lovely surroundings and very comfortable room
9 / 10Outstanding·Oct 2026
The room was very clean and comfortable, with a quiet, relaxed ambience. Free parking available outside was appreciated. There was a hotel for meals walking distance away, but we didn't eat there. No light or noise pollution, which made sleep very easy. An excellent starting point for walks around Cape Foulwind. A short journey to Westport for meals, groceries, etc. Well worth the short drive from Westport. Mark and Denise are lovely hosts.
The layout of the room meant there was no bedside table on one side of the bed - not a big issue.
