Rather dark (cellar), tasteless and rather cheap furniture (basic equipment to host people), smelly, windows to the street (open that you can climb in)

We loved everything about this property. Our stay here was one of the highlights of our visit to Portugal.
No air conditioning but the apartment stayed cool even in a heat wave. Transportation was a challenge, walking to & from the main square was best, vs driver taking through the narrow streets

Location, size of the apartment, had everything you needed. The terrace is amazing for evening cocktails and the cat on the property is so cute.

The apartment is really comfortable, internet working and great location in Sintra. Support via whatsapp is quick and checking is done online, there is no front desk. AC working well, but during the night it is not needed since city gets fresh.
Location is around 15 minutes walk from train station but it is not a smooth walk. Google sends via stairs and many streets without sidewalk, last meters is really difficult to walk with a luggage. Also, the apartment can be second floor, so consider if you have luggage to carry. The bathroom has a sign saying boiler contains 80 liters of hot water and you have to wait to heat up more in case it runs out. During summer it is not a problem, but 2 people in winter might be an issue. Drain of the bathroom was not draining well, so shower quickly filled with water.
