It was good to be at Fairhill again as we have been going to Clonbur for about 40 years. The manager and staff were extremely helpful and made our stay very good.
The best thing about staying at Fairhill over the years has been the wonderful food that has been on offer but unfortunately this year they have no chef and food other than pizzas on offer in the evening.

The breakfast was cooked very well, service was excellent.
Our mattress was a bit uncomfortable. The room next door left their TV on till 3am also they shouted a lot. I know you can't do anything about that.

The beds were clean and the breakfast was good, chef was accommodating to our baby and the girl hosting breakfast was really lovely.
Aside from the breakfast girl staff were nearly impossible to find. The place is advertised as having a restaurant and full bar menu - and like roaring fires and a proper old Irish bar. This is not the case - the bar is a hotel bar not a good ol pub - there is only pizza and the only other place serving food in the town was booked out. Their restaurant is closed and looks to be a place for donated toys for the Ukrainians living in the hotel. There was also a random black Labrador roaming around the place, which isn’t great tbh. The bathroom had also seen better days, there was mould on the celling. Also the door to the balcony didn’t lock.
