This is without a doubt one of the just beautiful properties in the world in one of the most gorgeous cities I've ever seen, and I've been to 60+ countries. The property was built in the 12th century, served as a tax collectors office and residence, survived several empires and the plague, and is staffed by lovely, warm people. It's worth whatever you pay for it to be honest. Top notch. I will be back.
Nothing. At all.

The room is clean and tidy, the bed is great and staff is nice and friendly. The location is very convenient, you can find lots of foods nearby.
It would be nice if the check-in time is a bit sooner, say 2:00 PM. Although customers can check-in sooner, they have to pay extra fees. It seems hard to change this policy.

Absolutely great location and facilities.
For older folks, like us, traversing stairs with luggage can be a challenge.

About 10 mins walk from Nuremberg Train Station and 15 mins walk to old town.
Don’t expect any service from the staff who were generally grumpy, unfriendly and unhelpful. Have to pay for luggage storage with self-help luggage locker which staff even unsure how to operate them and simply brushed us off by saying it was a new implementation, so we just tried to figure out ourselves. Lockers are situated next to reception. The receptionist was not available that we had to look for him high and low even though the staff was supposed to be on duty when we arrived around 11am. Toilet at the lobby was locked and we had to asked receptionist to unlock for us who was curt in his reply by saying, “What’s wrong?!” If the staff were so unwilling to help, might as well make it a complete automation with self-check-in service throughout.
