Location was good. Staff were lovely
We accidentally booked a Japanese bed and it was uncomfortable. But this was more our error.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. Our hosts were so warm, welcoming and genuinely friendly, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The ryokan was beautiful, spotless and full of traditional charm. The location was perfect, within easy walking distance of great restaurants, lovely souvenir and ornament shops, and stunning temples. One of the highlights was being able to enjoy the onsen despite having tattoos, which made the experience even more special. We truly appreciated the hospitality and would happily stay here again.

We liked the location from the ferry and to the shrine and shops
The futon bed and pillow were so hard and uncomfortable - this is not our first time on this type of bedding. No comfortable place to sit and not happy that there is one shared shower on a different floor. Restaurant/Bar not open. We did not stay the 2 nights that we paid for.
