Lovely pool and vistas and very friendly staff
The signage around the resort was poor - couldn’t work out how to get around at first. Breakfast offerings perhaps too expansive cause they couldn’t survive the heat.

It’s a proper retreat and has a world inside of it, so tranquil and calm. The pool has beautiful views of Sigiriya rock, the spa in Aliya is well trained; Dr. Oshani was so accommodating and knowledgeable, I had the best Ayurvedic full body massage. Staff overall is so friendly and well trained, refreshing to see their dedication and commitment. They should all get a raise.
Sometimes small lizards come in room but because I’m scared of them I would call housekeeping and they would take care of it for me. Dinner buffet was also a bit bland and did not have true Sri Lankan flavours, was a bit commercial tasting.

View of the rock and the friendly staff make it a lovely place to visit.
The day spa not great compared to others. Very hot in the treatment rooms and wasn't an overall relaxing experience. Not sure how qualified they are. We dined at the Chinese restaurant it was very tired.
