Really convenient for Watford Junction station which is just a few minutes walk away so either a train to London, buses to local area or the Harry Potter shuttle bus are all easy. I was a bit early so my key code didn't work yet so I'd advise putting an earlier time in rather than put exact times. Fortunately one of the cleaning staff was around and absolutely brilliant in getting me a fresh code to get my room key.
I was staying in the king size room with ensuite bathroom which had complimentary toiletries and shampoo/shower gel fixed to wall in dispensers. comfortable and everything I needed. Kettle, tiny cups with tea etc, hairdryer, iron, fan.... I never went into the pub so no idea what that was like but didn't have any noise issues. Would happily stay there again, cheap and convenient, just get key out of locker box and return it when your stay is over. No frills but nice comfortable stay.
No plug for the bath! Fortunately I packed a travel plug. Think most rooms just have a shower and this had a rain shower over the bath but I really wanted a bath so my travel plug saved the day.
Tiny, egg cup size cups, espresso style. I also had a travel mug so didn't bother me but tea drinkers be warned 😄

Automated key access is inflexible and awkward. An air conditioning unit outside my window created loud noise and vibrations day and night

The room was as per photo and was not worse than expected.
Having a restaurant in the pub below made finding somewhere to dine easy, which enhanced the stay.
Breakfast was not an option but I was aware of this, so not an issue.
The curtain rails were not smooth and as such, the curtains were difficult to open/close with the risk of damaging the curtains, which I did not do but there was signs of damage, plus, the curtains were not clean.
There was a stain on carpet by the window/door.
The shower's basin-tray had a crack in it which made me reluctant to use it.
The toilet I had to use as part of the booking was I had thought to be shared between myself and another single room occupant but it turned out the toilet was open to all who wanted to use it. Luckily, the toilet was in a clean state throughout my stay ( of two nights ).
