Fantastic stay in Fukuoka

Staff very attentive, amazing bathroom with shower and large bath in the room, pool and gym, location, clean.

I would recommend that the restaurants in the hotel carry a vegetarian menu pre-approved, and that staff is aware of what vegetarian, ovo-lacto-vegetarian, and vegan mean. When we asked it was obvious that the staff didn’t know and had to go ask. With the amount of tourism Fukuoka gets, providing a vegetarian menu should not be difficult since Japan has amazing vegetables and many Buddhists.

Lovely hotel

The location was great and the staff were incredibly attentive and helpful. The room was spacious and the amenities great. It was clean and tidy, so no real complaints apart from one small issue below, but we didn't mention.

Under one of the beds was a spare mattress and duvet, which we used for one of our children. Unfortunately the blanket with it under the bed was not the cleanest. Only one small thing as everything else was perfect.

総合的にとても良い滞在となりましたのでまた機会があれば利用させて頂きたいと思って居ます。

主人や息子のサプライズ演出を快くご協力頂きました。おかげで2人ともとても喜んでくれて大成功でした。

立地や部屋の中の雰囲気はとっても良かったのですが、夜遅くまでストリートライブをしている方が居たり、外の音が気になり中々眠れませんでした。

it was Great, really enjoyed the room, best room we've stayed at in Japan

We really enjoyed the room, the hard pillows were great, loved the bathroom with shower/tub close to each other. bonus was the changing/ closet room - -very - very good. We've stayed at quite a few hotels in Japan, I believe this will be our favorite

Good location, friendly staffs.

Location and spacious room size. Overall friendly staff. Concierge and check-out staffs were very helpful.

Check-in staff did not allow me to proceed the check in before 3pm (normally you can, it’s just your room is not ready).

Good hotel but far away from train station.

The front desk staff was super attentive and professional. Very polite, best I have seen.

The clean up lady threw away my wife's floss that was saved in the same glass as her tooth brush. It was a blue string floss. They should not touch personal items. Breakfast was pricey and well as the spa. Taxi was about the best transportation as the train station had too many walk up steps to get to the actual train.

Being next door to Canal City is great (casual wear, toys, cinema), and also a subway station.

The staff was extremely helpful.

There aren’t that many great Japanese restaurants in the area (within walking distance).

The staffs were very pleasant and friendly. Eason was excellent and he was very helpful, especially he speaks our language that really makes our travel a lot more easier. He helped us to make restaurant reservations, car rental……, it’s not the same without him. Greatly appreciated!!

The hotel room smelled stinky. The carpet was so old especially on the 12th floor, very disappointed, it did not meet the Grand Hyatt standard.

If I ever return to Fukuoka, I would definitely stay at the Grand Hyatt again.

Location was excellent. Hotel is connected to Canal City. Night street stalls are just right behind the hotel.

The bed was a tad soft.

Would recommend!

Big, spacious room by Japanese standards, toilet with the bath was also very welcoming after a day of sightseeing. There is a huge mall Canal City just right beside which has almost everything you need. Guest services were also very responsive to our needs.

Nothing really much to nitpick but of course a great room comes with a price (:
