Breakfast N/A,We were greeted very well,Steven very welcoming told us all we needed to know,Chatty and easy to get on with.Showed us up to our room,Lovely deco,nice and clean well presented.The colours welcoming and warm,Bed very comfortable,shower area very clean and although Steven and clare were redecorating we didn't feel put about,a very happy and pleasant stay would definitely recommend to family and friends,Brilliant area right in the middle of everything just round the corner from sea front and a 5mins walk away from town itself.Quiet at night.The deco was modern homely and well maintained a lovely style.
The only thing really was the walk round the bed to get to the shower was cramped,but it was the smallest room,and re renovating Steven explained they had plans to make the room bigger.And to say it was the smallest room they had fitted a double bed and all the things for a decent stay kettle,cups drinks of choice chair chest of drawers tv and even a small fridge.Even comfy cushions and a welcoming teddy bear we named Eddie.So It didn't really matter too much.

Lovely one-night stay in Scarborough. Claire was very accommodating and made us feel very welcome. The room was absolutely spotless, the beds were really comfortable, and the location was excellent — perfect for getting around Scarborough. We had a lovely stay and would definitely return again. Highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Room clean, bed comfortable with nice sheets, location.
After booking a Double room that comprised a Double Bed and up to two singles (one single shown on the photo of room) I found out there was an extra charge the single bed.
Also the bathroom was described on Booking.com as "Private" (like the majority of the bathroom arrangements in the guest house which where shown as on-suite), what Private meant was it was on a landing of the staircase. One other room was described as Private external bathroom. I think possibly the pictures of the room are the wrong way around. The shower in the bathroom suffered from a water shortage as at times it was reduced to a dribble.I pointed this out to the host who explained it was due to others on higher floors using their showers at the same time. This may be the case but it's a guest house and people tend to get up roughly the same time and want a shower so just having a dribble means the plumbing needs sorting. sorry.
