Atmosphere Kanifushi - Premium All Inclusive with Free Transfers

We were blown away by our stay. From the moment we arrived in Male, the sea plane transfer was arranged for us seemlessly and once we arrived on the island we were looked after by every person in every category of staff. Hansi our super organiser and Ihu our amazing dive master and guide get special mention but we were so well looked after by everyone in each of the restaurants especially the chefs who took the time to cater to one of our number needing gluten free - Ceylon doing so especially! The diving and snorkelling were exceptional and we were lucky enough to see some truly amazing things which will stay with us for ever - the boat was always punctual, clean and the captain and all the dive team were fantastic. The spa was stunning both visually and with how the treatments were provided. Our rooms were kept immaculate by our Nepalese housekeeper who also provided a beautiful floral welcome. The buggies transporting us around were frequent and the app worked brilliantly and we even made the security team work when we left a phone in a bar after hours and they could not have been more helpful. This was a 10/10 stay and we would like to thank everyone who made sure it was.

Our stay in Kanifushi has been a truly wonderful experience. We have enjoyed it immensely, both thanks to the beautiful facilities and, above all, the exceptional service provided by the entire staff. We stayed in a villa with a private pool, which made our experience even more special. The villa was beautiful and incredibly comfortable, with every amenity you could possibly imagine to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable. We would especially like to highlight the kindness and attentiveness of the whole team. We have also been very lucky to have Shasha as our manager. He has been extremely attentive and proactive throughout our stay, always available and quick to help with any questions or requests we had. A special mention also goes to the buggy drivers, who were always incredibly friendly, helpful, and cheerful. The professionalism and genuine hospitality of the staff made our experience truly memorable. We leave Kanifushi very happy and grateful, and we sincerely hope to come back in the future.

Stay: 17th to 22nd July Villa: 225 (Kanifushi Beach villa with private pool) As a little girl watching an old sitcom from 1965 "I dream of Jeannie", gave me hopes and dreams of finding a Jeannie myself marooned on an island. Little did I know at the time that years later on my honeymoon in Maldives that dream would be realised with not 1 but 2 Jeannie's of our own named Hansi and Shehani! Atmosphere Kanifushi is a dream come true! Right from picking us up from the airport to transfer to seaplane to the resort on this island and back, we experienced hospitality and luxury like never before. With 7-8 restaurants/bar to choose from and each serving the finest delicacies and high end drinks to 2 infinity pools to soak the Maldivian sun in, everything was top notch. Multiple snorkelling trips to different reefs, motorised or non motorised water activities offered by their very own dive centre and eco friendly bicycles to explore the island at your own pace and if too warm to pedal then regular buggies to pick you right outside your villa to anywhere on the island. The highlight was our villa with semi private beach and a huge private pool.. Room service happened twice a day which meant the only time the room was disheveled was when we were inside the room :D mini bar stocked daily with finest (soft and hard) drinks and snacks to savour. If the high end resort amenities weren't enough, our 2 Jeannie's Hansi and Shehani spoilt us silly! They were at our beck and call during our entire stay and ensured our stay/Honeymoon on this little island becomes a memory to be cherished for the rest of our lives. 1 of our bags got swapped with another passenger on the carousel belt itself which we realised 4 hours later and informed if they can help somehow. Anywhere else in the world, we know the answer to that question but Hansi/Shehani/Atmosphere Kanifushi had a different stance to our problem.

Tappanyaki, Pier 6, cycling the island, kids/teen area had been invested in, including sport courts, diving and water sports staff and amenities, spa.

This is our 2nd visit and whilst some staff provided good service, the service overall had declined significantly. Accommodation is tired and doesn’t feel luxurious compared to other resorts stayed in. Drinks service round pool was almost non existent and it felt like it was an effort for them to serve. 3 yrs ago this was a totally different experience, hence why we returned.
