We had a wonderful time staying at the Four Seasons Hotel in Johannesburg.
Everything was perfect: the rooms were beautifully decorated and very comfortable, the restaurant terrace offered an outstanding view, and the staff were extremely kind and professional.
We have great memories of our short stay at this hotel and would certainly recommend it.

Staff, food and service were all too notch. I highly recommend the breakfast buffet at Flames restaurant the food is amazing and the patio views are breathtaking.

Room was nice - the bed was comfy and housekeeping helped make a stay comfy with a 1 yr old.
The room was just not 5 star - comparative to other 5 star hotels in Jhb and SA. We love paying for quality and this was actually lacking. Our stay at the new Houghton Hotel was comparatively better than this hotel. The room and bathroom is outdated. The breakfast buffet was not at all 5 star - compared to for example The Palace. This was just disappointing in quality, variety, and location - especially the presentation of the kitchen and food in this small, dark area. The service was absolutely abysmal - we noticed others complaining about how long they waited for something they ordered off the menu. I ordered waffles and waited around 45 minutes. I left as it was ridiculous to be waiting even more than 5 minutes at a 5 star place.
