The location is superb, right on the beach. There's always action to watch on the water, and the infinity swimming pool provided the perfect foreground for the view!
The beach equipment, like the paddle board, needs replacing. The deck is rotton in places.

Villa Labaron is at a quiet location with direct access to a good sized pool and lovely beach, despite only being a 15-minute ride away from the Samui Airport. There are many good quality restaurants and cafes within easy walking distance (most accessible from the beach as well).
The rooms are well-equipped, comfortable and spotless. There is fresh supply of clean towels and water daily. The staff are helpful and polite, answered our questions and did their best to accommodate our needs. The mid-morning and afternoon snacks and drinks provided free of charge.
Despite being at a popular location, the beach was always quiet and the sea perfectly warm at all hours of the day and night.
If you are looking for a get away, can't recommend Villa Labaron enough! You will want to book your next visit before you leave the island - like we have!

The location was great and within walking distance to the shops and some lovely restaurants. The apartment was situated on a beautiful beach and we had free use of the kayaks & paddleboard. The owner kindly took our son out on the Jetski. The staff were helpful and friendly offering us free drinks & refreshing watermelon in the late afternoon.
The facilities were basic but this was expected as per the description.

The villa was pleasant enough for a one-night stay, and conveniently close to the airport which was helpful as we had a very early morning flight. The villa was clean and quiet with very comfy beds, and it was nice to have the little kitchenette with tea and coffee. The staff were really friendly and helpful.
The villa is sandwiched between a very busy main road and a beach lined with other villas and with quite a lot of boat traffic. It was OK for a single night, but the area felt really hectic compared to other places on the island and you'd need to get a taxi to anywhere good for shopping or sightseeing. The room only had overhead lighting and we would have appreciated some lamps beside the beds and in the sitting room, and the pool was so chlorinated that it was really unpleasant. Overall it felt expensive for what we got, again, comparing it to other places we stayed.
