such a great value. The pool and beach were great! the staff is excellent. they are very helpful and have great information. They also booked are early taxi and helped with bags.
we got a two bedroom. the master king bed comfortable but the twin beds for adults were very hard.

Great location - on beach and in fisherman’s village. Nice room with balcony and good breakfast. Nice pool area.
Didn’t have loads of staff interaction - they were not forthcoming with information about what the hotel had to offer. I.e they didn’t explain there was a laundry service at the hotel, didn’t explain there was a DVD borrowing service, or that in the rooms there was information on restaurants in local area. We only discovered these things ourselves later on in the stay. Likewise they did not let us know about how to book onto local attractions and excursions. Basically, left you to it. However, when we initiated conversations with them they were friendly and happy to help. The room was nice but the photos show towels placed decoratively on the bed, which wasn’t the case when we stayed. Not an issue, but we were expecting different due to photos - also it was our honeymoon and I had made a note of this on our booking, hoping maybe a special welcome would have been made. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our stay in Koh Samui and were happy with the no fuss approach as we wanted a chilled out week.

Location was good and quiet
Something was wrong with the water pump and there was no water to shower or brush teeth many times in my stay. Feedback to the staff and water came back but will go away later. Will not stay again.

It was just perfect.
Excellent location at the end of Fisherman's village. Views are incredible.
The staff is super friendly and always very helpful.
Good selection for breakfast (continental or Thai).
Couldn't fault it. It was really perfect.

The penthouse suite was a fabulous size and perfect for our needs. the loft suites were also rather nice and the twin rooms were well appointed. it was great value for money, situated right on the beachfront with a small, cool pool and shaded cafe/ bar area. Our rooms had balconies and full or partial sea views. The breakfast menu was incredibly generous with a few options, we particularly enjoyed the Chinese fried rice with and egg on top and also the French toast with banana on top. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable about the island. When we stayed there was a cocktail van situated over the road every evening.
Road noise at times, but this is the quiet end of the road and is one way. Friday night had salsa dancing over the road until the early hours - it was lively

Everything! Staff, the room, pool & beach. I had a lovely stay there. would go back & stay there again for sure.
Nothing-everything was great

Hotel was lovely, at the quieter end of Fisherman's village, meaning you had peace and tranquility, but only a 5 minute walk to get to the heart of the bars, restaurants, night markets etc.
We had a ground floor superior double room - beach front. Had everything we needed; wi-fi, large, comfortable bed, nice bathroom, ample storage, tv, fridge, blackout curtains and air con. Opened onto a balcony with furniture and then straight onto the lawn which was then straight onto the beach.
Lovely swimming pool - not big, but enough to relax and cool down. Bar and restaurant on site. We had breakfast included and also had lunch sometimes.
Staff were really lovely and they provided lots of info, maps, etc about the island and what you could do. They also had a library where you could borrow books.
Hotel had a laundry service, but a lady and her husband about 20 metres to the left down the road offered a service and we used that. It was great - hand your bag in and you get it back the next day, ironed too and price was very good. We also found a fabulous restaurant called Happy Friday's just beyond the laundry service. It was like eating in someone's house, but he staff were so lovely and the food was delicious and very reasonably priced.
We also hired a car for 3 days when we were there from one of the tour operator agencies and that was good to get around the island, as be warned, the taxi and street bus prices are really high and despite the bartering everyone does, they all seem to charge the same prices and difficult to get those down by much. Up to that point, we spent quite a bit on taxis, which we weren't expecting.
We visited Silver Sands beach/Crystal Bay, which was beautiful but absolutely packed, so not very relaxing. We also found another couple of beautiful beaches - Thongson Bay which was stunning and Taling-Ngam beach, which was gorgeous and only about 10 of us on there.
Being on the ground floor and near to Reception, it was sometimes a little noisy in the mornings, but didn't spoil our stay.
The only aspect that was a little disappointing was the beach at this end of the village. It's quite narrow and the water just wasn't as clear as it was further up the beach where most of the hotels and restaurants are based. So whilst we stayed there on the hotel loungers for the first day or so, we didn't really use it much after that.

Quiet end of Fisherman's village. Located near some nice restaurants and bars.
The staff were very pleasant, polite, courteous, friendly and helpful.
Great view from the sea facing rooms.
The small pool was clean, although not really "affinity" as advertised.
Nice breakfast area overlooking the beach.
Iron and board, also hairdryer supplied immediately on request for duration of the stay at no additional cost.
Good laundry service returned the following day for a reasonable price.
The beach was very narrow with the sunbeds angled on quite a steep bank. It was also strewn with sea wash up. The pictures on this and other websites don't really indicate this.
The beach sunbeds were very heavy and difficult to move. There were some lightweight fold up sunbeds but these were very old, rusty and in general poor condition.
The outside bamboo roofed bar seen on some pictures was out of use and being used as a general store shed.
The rooms were quite dated, dark and seemed slightly damp. The air con was quite noisy although this didn't disturb our sleep.
Poor privacy as the curtains were either kept closed, or you were in full view of staff working outside, cleaners, other guests and beach walkers when open. Would have benefit from additional net curtains.

Nice beach, good location.
breakfast was average, not enough sun beds, although other ones available in a shed type building.

Maintenance work being carried out during our stay. We had beachfront room with supposed verandah access to beach, however, 4 of the 6 days we were there we couldn't use it due to maintenance work and noise. Our view was restricted by cones and tape. Totally ruined our stay!!

Great location, beach front, and within walking distance to some lovely bars, restaurants, etc. Nice and helpful staff. Would definitely stay again. Thank you.

Great views and lovely setting. Nice size room, quiet end of town but easy to walk into the busy area. Friendly staff, nice pool, good breakfast.
.
Would have been nice to have some sheer curtains in the room as we were on the ground floor Infront of people sunbathing and walking past.

The hotel is loctaed in a great part of the island, and at the less busy end of the main strip in Fishermans Village. It makes for a good location to explore the rest of the island. The views from the rooms of the sea are excellent and uninterrupted.
The room in our opinion appears tired and in need of some TLC compared to other hotels of a similar rating and price point on the island. We raisrd our concerns and requested to checkout after the first night as the room did not meet our expectation but we told this was not possible without paying for the whole stay which was disappointing!
The room appeared scruffy and needing a refresh, versus other 3 star hotels on the island and in our view did not provide value for money. Mattress was soft and therefore a consideration for those who prefer a firmer bed.
The property also suffers from little soundproofing, as the doors in to the rooms and to the balcony are very light, and for 4 of the 5 nights we did stay we were awoken by barking dogs, music from nearby venues or our neighbours on their balconies.

Everything seems perfect. Too bad I left early (4am) due to my early flight.
Nothing to complain.

Great location just outside Fisherman's village but in walking distance to everything. Reasonably priced restaurant, lovely staff. Nice pool!
The mattrasses and pillows were quite uncomfy. Very loud AC

On the beach and the hotel was quite boutique.
Water on the beach was not clear enough fir snorkeling, but that not the fault of the hotel.
7.0
- Views and sound in the morning from the waves (however, the beach at Bo Phut is dotted with trash and weeds so while the beach is very accessible from the house, there wasnt much incentive to do so)
- Breakfast was very basic but the kitchen staff was very accommodating with my requests
- Had a lovely chat with Shai and she was very pleasant
- It is pricey for what it is; a beach front chalet. It is very basic and you are essentially paying for the views
- The close proximity to the beach (I think) meant that the room is damp especially the bed
- There was a power outage during my stay though I understand it affected multiple areas on Samui. While this was no fault of the hotel, I'd have hope that the staff manage the situation with more tact and earnestness as opposed to a non chalant we-cant-do-anything attitude

the view and location is fantastic. staff is very helpful and responsive. good value for money, I def suggest for short term stays
can be a bit noisy depending on other guests, as everyone somehow was passing in front of our door

Location right on the beach
1) no privacy at the balcony, u cannot even talk as people are sitting right close to you
2) when it rains, the street gets full of water and its hard to walk
3) no handwash in the washroom
4) price is a touch on the higher side as compared to the what they are giving
5)no phone in the room to connect with the reception
6)stray dogs late night moving close to the hotel late night

very clean, bed comfortable and big, nice decor, lovely anniversary set up when we arrived, great location and right on beach with a great view.
very damp sheets on bed, cold shower, food was very bad. Receptionist did not tell us that the bottled water was an extra charge, always had complimentary water in all hotels we have stayed in. doors need a net curtain for privacy. people allowed to smoke on balcony so you’re fogged out by cigarette smoke every-time you sit on balcony and for none smokers this is not nice. paper thin walls so can hear other people’s tv very loud. loud staff at 7am in the morning outside room.
7.0
The pool and the location. Both are very good.. we found cheaper alternatives also to the expensive restaurants that line the beach.
With Thailand being the land of smiles, we enjoy travelling all over Thailand and meeting friendly staff and people. Sadly while the location in fisherman's village was perfect and the price good, the staff here seemed un interested and like they wanted to be somewhere else. It really let the place down..
Pool was nice, room was nice and clean while the bed was a little firm but you come to expect that in Asia.
I would rate Samui as a great place to come. Baan Bophut is good, but it has the potential to be great.

The hotel was super clean, the beach was immaculate and the outside areas were kept lovely.
There wasn't a hair dryer in the room - probably my only complaint.
8.0
Breathtaking view from our room. Very comfortable bed. Most Hotel staff were gracious and accomodating, truly aiming to please.
Entire hotel was exceptionally clean.
Breakfast ofered very generous portions and the flexibility to eat at restaurant or in room. (We did go out for breakfast a few times in search of something sweet, like pancakes or danish and good coffee.)
Night staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.
Our only big bone of contention was a ridiculous sur-charge for a cot in the room to assure a good nights sleep for both of us. It cost between 30 and 50% over total room charge. There are no twin bed options on bottom floor and we didn't want to move, preferring to keep beach, pool access. Reception refused to give us any pricebreak, even when we extended our stay for an extra week.
We would have stayed on for a 3rd week but the actual beach and ocean water was less than pristine and added bed charge put room in a different price category for the area.
Some comfy in room seating would be a huge plus as would better towels and bathroom lighting.

It's a small property. Plenty of room to move around without bumping into lots of other guests. In fact I had the beach to myself most days. The downstairs beach front rooms have the most amazing view !!
I was in room 3 which whilst having amazing views, was near reception and noisy from 7am.

Exceptionally clean, great location. Good, inexpensive restaurant on the site. An added bonus, five dogs at the entrance but don't worry, very friendly.
Loud air-conditioning from the neighbouring building. Very nice balcony with a great view but so uncomfortable metal chairs, at least on the upper floor. Please change them!
10.0
Extremely good location in Fisherman village. each front property with sequels from each room!
It’s not the hotel fault but the beach is not as good as Cchawrng
10.0
A beautiful boutique hotel with everything you need and the beach right on your doorstep. The staff were all friendly and helpful.
There was nothing we didn't like but it would be nice if there was a twin bed option with the bigger balcony with loungers.
2.0
location was the only good point.
receptionist was miserable and should not be working in the front of house. I booked the break for our 30th wedding Anniversary and never got a free drink, card no mention at all.
the room had no net curtains and in full view of the other quests so to get changed you had to shut the blackout curtains and put the light on in living area.
also the room was covered in mould and had bad smell also the room was really run down.
I asked the receptionist if we could move to the cheaper room upstairs as it wasn’t full and she wouldn’t entertain it.
walking to the bar area to order food my foot went straight through the decking and lucky I didn’t cut my leg, there was lots of areas where they needed to repair the decking but no one was interesting in listening but someone will get hurt soon enough.
The swimming pool is to small and not the way it looks in the adverts, also the beach at the front is to shallow for a swim as you would need to wade through sludge for 100 yards to get to deeper water the sea at the other end of the island is better for swimming.

Very friendly accommodating staff
