Lovely, helpful staff. The position right opposite the Botanic Gardens was spot on, allowing us to just walk across the road. At least two cafes within walking distance. Budget friendly.
It's past time for a revamp. Plus a little maintenance couldn't hurt (leaking toilet, making our socks wet). Also, a tea towel would have been helpful, to dry dishes before leaving. But I knew not to expect too much as it was so budget friendly, and the mini break was all about the Toowoomba gardens, not the accommodation.
