The venue is really well located in a nice area in Durbanville therefore very central
1. Aircon very noisy and doesn't heat that large room.
2. Bathrooms are freezing as all tiled and no underfloor or heating in the bathroom.
3. Dont like that for a woman on her own the door can be opened from the outside with a key and there is no safety latch from the inside.
4. I would include a wine bottle opener in the drawer.
5. Feather Pillows on offer would go a long way for a better sleep.
6. The light comes in through the glass strip and shines right into the room from the patio.

From the moment I checked into Evertsdal, I felt at home. I was warmly welcomed and this sense of being valued and supported as a solo Australian traveller never wavered. My room was very comfortable. The bed was firm, furnishings were in very good condition and the room and ensuite were spotlessly maintained each day. There was plenty of hanging and cupboard space. My car was parked within the gated guesthouse premises and the surrounding suburb appeared safe. I took a 10 minute walk to the local supermarket one afternoon and felt comfortable doing so.
The bathroom had the usual amenities, and the towels were changed on request. I would have liked a face cloth, but that is a minor issue. I'm sure if I'd asked, one would have appeared as nothing was too much trouble at Evertsdal.
Breakfast and its service was excellent, with the same staff appearing most days. Three types of loaves (both savoury and sweet) were baked on the premises each day. It was hard to choose between them, as they were all so delicious. There was the standard range of cereals and yogurts on offer, but the fruit varied each day. A delicious cooked breakfast was available, or variations thereof. The coffee was always abundant and both almond and oat milk were available.
I twice had home cooked dinners and each was delicious - main course, dessert and juice.
Would I stay there again? In a heartbeat. Thank you for a wonderful 9 day stay, Yolande and team.

Tv wasn’t tuned in and could not get it working No decent coffee in rooms. No one to help with luggage.
Shower tray might fall soon.
