When the b&b is fully booked, there may be no hot water in the room.

The location was great, next to themetro station. It was very clean and the breakfast was good too.

During winter the room can be a little cold. Main heating is not available, however there is a heating device and heavy quilts.

Staff was kind, nice and welcoming for our unexpected requests! They let us check in early which was a life saver in the moment. The room was good size and clean. Comfortable beds and pillows. I'd definitely recommend this place.

I think a little lounge area would be nice for people to relax and wait. Currently, there is the garden and dining room but you can't necessarily be on top the chairs all the time. Some people might want to work too, it would be nice to have the option.

Well located place within steps of the subway and a 15-20 minute walk from the Baixa. The small garden is cute and the staff are friendly and receptive (they bagged us a breakfast when we told them we had to leave early).

An older building with all that it entails regarding amenities and soundproofing. I would recommend it for solo travelers or couples only. The lack of air conditioning was a killer in the August heat! While a fan was provided, the street noise made it impossible to keep the windows open at night to cool the room down. The Internet service did not reach the 3rd floor. We had to rely on our cellphone data plan to get by.

Position was very close to the metro. The girls at the hotel were very welcoming and the late checkout is great. They also allowed us to keep the luggages till later.

The wifi could not reach the room (room n. 10) because it was at the far end of the floor. It is quite loud outside so to sleep we had to close all the windows, but the fan did not work properly and was a bit weak.

Everything was great. Fenomenal place.

Breakfast was ok, it would have been better with more choice of fresh bread not just toasted one. It was nice that they offered breakfast bag to go in case if you leave earlier that the breakfast is served. Room very clean with nice balcony overlooking the garden. Great location just a walking distance to the old town.

The breakfast was good and provided a nice start to the day. The room was large and comfortable, a little noisy at night but did not stop us having a good sleep. The staff are truly wonderful and nothing was too much trouble for them. It is an old building with some lovely features as well as a garden breakfast room

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, and it was very nice to have breakfast every morning in the garden.

Second floor without elevator. The room was especially small and very poorly cleaned. During our stay, the cleaners only came by to make the bed, but did not take out the garbage or clean the room. In addition, the area around the shower needs more attention in terms of cleaning. Also, the shower drain was clogged and the shower overflowed. We reported this the first day, but it was not fixed.

The room was lovely, even if the view was on the street windows isolate perfectly traffic noises! The bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was tasty, they serve both sweet and savory breakfast. We had a little issue with the main door key and they solved it straight away. We loved the kindness of everyone working in the hotel! We totally recommend O Jardim da Tessa!
