We love our stay at the 2 bedrooms apartment with beautiful lake view. Fully equipped kitchen.

The beautiful lake view, location, very clean, quiet and fully equipped kitchen: electric fry pan & rice cooker. The staff emailed us promptly that we left our belonging.

TV remote was missing.

Very basic. Kitchen small for number of quests. Water tap awful. Would have liked water in Room. Inside table, comfy seating were needed.

If you have over $400 budget per night don’t come here

1) found an empty medicine bottle and a chocolate under the pillow, paid $680 per night at least it’s reasonable to expect tidiness and cleanliness 2) wifi is really poor inside the house, had to stand outside for 15mins at 5am because I have an important work to do 3) view of the lake is blocked by trees

Standard older style motel room with a lovely outlook

Ours was a fairly standard motel room looking over a carpark/gravel road to beautiful Lake Tekapo. Quite comfortable and the BBQ across the car park had a great view. Well presented in an older-style way.

Not a particularly private location with cars regularly cruising past the front door on a gravel road to other parts of the facility.

Great stay, but byo mosquito spray

Location and clean and comfortable bedding. Cuttleries and plates set aside for the cabin.

Few mosquitoes were bothering us and when we needed assistance with it, the reception were closed already. Pls spray the room when you clean it.

Location location location

Location was amazing, the motel was in a position that it was protected by the intense wind we experienced whilst in Lake Tekapo so that was a real positive. The view was stunning and having the table and chairs out the front was amazing, even in winter.

ok apart from the extreme risk of a broken limb

Location and cleanliness were fine

The steep up to the cabin were uneven, did not have a handrail, and lethally slippery when frosty.

Excellent short stay with great views of the lake

We had a family cabin up on the hill overlooking Lake Tekapo. There was a small table and a very basic kitchen area with a small bar fridge. You could not do cooking there but at the cooking building a short walk away. We knew this before booking so it wasn't a big deal. On the verandah there was a small table and chairs to enjoy the view and relax.

We did not have any issues with the place.

Handy location

Location was handy

The carpet was stained, the place had a bit of smell and didn't feel clean. It would've been OK but for the room night rate for a place that's more of a place to stay the night (room didn't have a toilet nor TV) we thought it was expensive for what it is.

Loved the view in the morning

This accommodation is right on the edge of the lake it is beautiful to wake up to. Facilities and amenities are clean and convenient. The staff are very friendly and helpful. This is a pretty big holiday park.It is only a few short minutes walk to tekapo springs that was a bonus for us.

We were in a cabin that used the shared facilities walking to the shared bathroom at night is not too far but it is very dark as there isn't lighting along the driveway. Our cabin was on a little bit of an incline and we had to walk very carefully on the gravel in the dark. Just keep in mind this time of year this holiday park can be busy with campers even tho there were a couple kitchens they were all full to the brim of people. So if you don't mind waiting to use the facilities like we did then ok or get a cabin with a bathroom and kitchen in it.

breathtaking views

the view was spectacular.its was a very nice place to stay in tekapo. unit was comfy and toasty.toilet was spacious too.

We didn't know what to expect and after driving some distance through the accommodation compound we were met with a very well equipped cabin capable of sleeping 6 and with a decent kitchen and lounge with deck and bbq outside all with a lakeside setting

Tekapo itself was quite expensive

Very poor wifi reception. I went to reception to complain but nobody came to our room to reset our wifi.

Pleasant stay in basic cabin. Had microwave and ensuite bathroom. Execellent location - near lake and village.

Proximity to Lake. Heating in cabin.

Tired accommodation - stained furniture. Needs refresh!

The outlook was fabulous. Beautiful sun rise across the lake.

Lots of rabbits. Actually my wife loved them but they are not good for the environment.
