Mrs Wijenayake is a wonderful host and her staff are all lovely and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble but you need to remember that this is a privately run guest house not a hotel. The location in the Fort is excellent. If you decide to have breakfast, its unlikely you will need a big lunch. We stayed 4 days and the breakfasts were superb and uniquely Sri Lankan.
Bed was big and comfortable and a/c works well. This is proper bed and breakfast
Nothing is too much trouble.
The stars to our room were a bit of a challenge with luggage but we were helped without prompting.

We booked a room here at very short notice due to having to leave our other accommodation unexpectedly. We arrived within half an hour of booking and yet everything was ready for us. The owner and young lady hosting were so welcoming and kind to us, and although the room was basic it was super clean and had everything we needed. The location was brilliant for exploring Galle Fort and we were straight into the restaurants/shops and yet it was a peaceful nights sleep with very little noise. The kids loved the games in the main kitchen area the next morning and we were offered breakfast which looked delicious. It was so cheap for the 5 of us for 1 night, rally good value for money.
