Schön aber mit leichten Mängeln

Die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft des Personals war aussergewöhnlich

Es gab keinerlei Kleiderbügel im Kleiderschrank ebenso gab es keinelei Haken oder Ähnliches um Jacken aufzuhängen. Die einzige Möglichkeit war 1 Stuhl. Das war insbesondere schlecht, da es während unseres Aufenthaltes geregnet hat und man nicht wusste wo man die nassen Jacken lassen sollte

when I arrived, staff was very helpful. Clean rooms which i love and aircons in as well! overall very pleased with everything!

their is no stove in the houses to make your own food with.

I couldn't even stay. I immediately had to do a different last minute booking, very late in the day

The pictures of the place and ratings on Booking.com are not matched by the actual place. It is supposed to be new, but its like a roadside truck stop. I would not recommend it for anyone on vacation mode.

The first things that worried me was the peeling paint on the outside, its over paved, and dining area is like a prison cafeteria. There is very little effort to give the place a warm and comfortable appeal. The furniture also looks like it was salvaged. Cigarettes stubs and broken bottles give it a cheap truck stop vibe. But the name, location and ratings on Booking.com promised more. I was not surprised that many Botswana clients cancelled their bookings on arrival

Exceptional

The room was very nice. The staff is very friendly and professional. Breakfast is good for what you pay. I was in a hurry so the chef gave me a take-away container to sake some breakfast. I was also able to go and make me a cappuccino whenever I wanted. They also allowed me to park my big trailer securely under the shade net.

TV a bit small-could improve on that. No water glasses, side plates & cups placed in a room.

I think they should get extra staff to clean the rooms. I came back from work around 3 and found the ladies still cleaning.

The staff were always helpful when we requested their help

They did not have a stove in their self catering family room. We also had to ask for plates and cutlery from the kitchen staff. As a regular traveler, I expected the self catering room to at least have a stove and some basic kitchen utensils

The room exceeded my expectations, the bed was comfortable, more channels on the TV, overall we enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back in the near future.

I would highly recommend Manor Hills Gust Lodge! I will stay there again.

Overall, it is one of the nicest places I've stayed. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the room is nice and big, they have a generator so I wasn't impacted by load-shedding. I highly recommend.

It is impossible to be perfect. I don't judge a place on what is wrong, but what they do to fix it. On arrival, the door wouldn't lock from the outside, so they moved me into another room immediately. Little things, like there was a slight gap between the wall and the curtain, so it didn't 100% block out the light from outside. But nothing that I would say is a problem or that would affect my recommendation. I will definitely stay there again.

The pictures advertised set the wrong expectations for what we paid for. Average Rating

The Aircons and Pools a major plus and in working condition. The rooms was clean and load shedding did not affect us due to the massive generator and solar. Breakfast was good and fresh

Upon arrival the family room did not look anything like the pictures on the website when we booked. The pictures are of the 1 bed units. Our room had no glasses for water or cooldrinks. For a family room , only 2 chairs at the kitchen eating area. The Beds had not bed lights, no tables in the room other than 1 standing bedside table randomly standing the room. The lounge area only had a couch , no other furniture in the area. The room looked empty. One of the bedrooms had no side curtains so we had to permanently keep the main curtains closed for other guests not looking into the room. One afternoon when we arrived , contractors was working in our room with out prior arrangement , and the contractors either smoked in the room or next to the room but the whole unit had a smoke smell until the next day. A refresh on towels would also be great - ours was old and washed out!
