Amazing location, staff were lovely, room was functional and comfy bed. We were prepared for noise having read the reviews, so avoided the balcony rooms, but in the standard double rooms (not on the street side) there was no problem at all with noise and we slept really well. There’s no kitchen so breakfast gets delivered to your door room service style!
8 / 10Excellent·May 2025
The location is at the center of Salento so you can walk to nearby viewpoints easily. The staffs are also very helpful.
The room is a little bit small for two persons. The bar in the opposite side open till 1 am. If you enjoy music you will be fine. If you want to get a good sleep then it’s not the right place.

The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The location over the main road is perfect but extremely noise. There are basically no common areas but the hotel was sparkling clean. Rooms are small but they do have a small table to work and they can even bring the breakfast to your room.
THE NOISE.
We got the balcony room but right in front of it there is a pub with music so loud it felt we were sleeping inside a disco. (I slept in many hostel with up to 30 people, party hostels and slept normal but the level of noise at this hotel was crazy). The hotel tried to fix this by adding a secondary glass door which ruined the historical style of the hostel and didn't fix the noise more than a 10% since they used normal glass instead of the soundproof glass (hermetically sealed double glazed).
NOT UPDATED PICTURES.
Note they haven't update the pictures of the hotel showing these secondary doors. They also repainted the front of the hotel to a lighter blue which doesn't match with the pictures posted at the time of this review.
