Fresh clean bedroom with everything in good order. The bed was very comfortable. The hostess was really friendly without being overbearing. Excellent breakfast.

The kindness of the host, Alison. From the moment we arrived she was very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.
The quality of the accommodation was fabulous, the room and public areas were exceptionally clean. The triple bedroom, no. 7 was very spacious. I found the bathroom to be very accessible for something with mobility issues.
Breakfast was a greay experience our order was taken on arrival. The next morning my egg was cooked to perfection (I don't like runny yolks) which lots of hotels never manage to achieve. I was coaxed into trying Haggis for the first time, which to my surprise was very nice. The breakfast - full English or Scottish set us up for the whole day.
We used The Village Inn as a stop off to travel to Ardgartan Argyll, if we were travelling this way again we wouldn't hesitate in staying there.
