It is close to the air base (8-10 min drive) and Big Emma's restaurant is next door; the restaurant was very good. There is good water pressure in the shower.
The air conditioning was broken for our whole stay in 90+ degree weather, and the windows don't have screens so bugs got in. The queen bed that I booked was infact two single beds pressed together. The TV only gets German channels and it is too slow/outdated for casting/screen mirroring to work. There is no working ice machine, you have to go outside to use the laundry facility and it had a lot of dead bugs in it. The only hygiene amenities are a pump of hand soap by the sink and a pump of the same soap in the shower. The fridge did not get cold enough to maintain food safety so it was only good for slightly chilling non perishable items. The keys are old school metal keys so locking your door at night feels like a fire safety hazard.
