Poor

The amenities were nice.

The room smelt like cigarette smoke and we could not be moved to another room. The lady at reception sent cleaners up to air out the place but the smell was still there.

Perfect for family

A good location, handy to everything and comfortable.

Modern apartment with plenty of space, comfortable seating and an excellent bed. A huge balcony, but as the view was directly into the apartments next door we didn't use it. The kitchen was well-equipped for self-catering, with very good appliances and access to the building and carpark was easy - being on Bay Rd, having traffic lights at the entrance was greatly appreciated, as was free allocated parking. Good value for money.

A few omissions that were mildly irritating - no shelf in the shower for shampoo etc and the kitchen area was very dark, with a useless rangehood light, black tiles and dark benchtops. Some under-cupboard lighting would be useful. No microwave containers were provided, or a chopping board and there was no coffee machine or plunger. Fortunately we carry a few supplies of our own when on a road trip.

The apartment was excellent value for money and I would recommend it to other travellers.

The staff at reception were very helpful as we had a lot of luggage that included 2 big bike bags. The apartment was more spacious that we expected and was very clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable.

The apartment was close to a busy road, and the road noise could be heard from the room with the door open - it wasn't too bad though.

Great location, close to lots of beaches and Southland. Lovely clean, modern unit. comfortable bed with nice bedding and good pillows. Friendly cleaners and accomodating reception staff. Great communication, good written instructions regarding after yours checkin and carparking. Loved the pool and hot tub

terrific apartments, well appointed and styled. quiet and clean

modern clean apartment, thoughtfully styled and stocked. I lost one of my hoop earrings which the cleaning staff found. the receptionist left a message on my phone and luckily we hadn’t left town yet so I was able to retrieve it.

the beds were too soft and pillows too hard. on day 2 we asked for different pillows, which they supplied. we stayed 5 nights. their policy is to renew towels on day 4. we did our own washing and did the towels ourselves. would have made more sense if management refreshed the towels on day 3. we also needed to extend our stay by a day as I had hurt my back and bed ridden. even though the room was free, they wouldn’t give it to us at the same rate we had paid for previous nights, but asked for $100. they ended up advertising the room for less than the rate we paid as they didn’t fill it. we ended up having to move for one night, which we could have done without. the pool and spa is lovely. unfortunately the spa wasn’t working the day we we’re leaving

Easy stay by the bay

Immaculate apartment. Comfortable, spacious and location was great.

Nothing not to like except for maybe adding a booking attention regarding rooms with connecting doorways between rooms for guests that want a silent stay. Being told at 2.30pm in the afternoon to be quiet was so rude.

Centrally located. Clean. Need to upgrade their mattresses.

Very clean and fresh. Good size kitchen and loved the gas cook top.

Only problem was the mattress. Too soft and cheap. Terrible night sleep as a result.
