Lovely location and interesting building

Excellent location, great room, really comfortable and well appointed. Good parking The evening menu is limited but it’s all very good and well Presented.

It was all good. It would be nice if breakfast was included in the rate.

A decent size room for a long weekend. Plenty of wardrobe space. Great to see proper coffee. Real, ground coffee and a cafetiere. With proper milk in the fridge outside the room too.

Would have preferred a bigger bed. A king size would have been more comfortable. Some mold build up in the shower too could have been treated

The Highlights Location & Views: Outstanding scenery—waking up to the view was easily the best part of the stay. Ambience: The decor is charming, tasteful, and well-maintained throughout the public spaces. Breakfast: The quality of the food at breakfast was genuinely impressive, cooked well with good ingredients.

Room Quality: The room was notably cramped. Worse, attention to detail in cleaning was lacking—there was visible mould around the shower and a faint stain on the bedsheets. High Costs: At £150 a night for a room only, it felt overpriced. Tacking on an extra £15 per person for breakfast pushes the cost too far for what is offered. Bar Prices: The steep pricing carries straight into the pub. A double G&T, a pint of cider, and a single packet of crisps came out to over £20. Strict Kitchen Hours: The strict 8:00 PM cut-off for food service is restrictive for a leisure stay and adds unnecessary frustration to the evening.
