many guesthouse I've been in Iceland are self-service and you never see any host have to search for information by mean of written message here and there. Here at Stútustadir you meet the hosts, there is a reception and person to guide you and to whom you can ask questions on the possible activities, available services... I could also benefit of clothes washing service, for correct price, I got my clothes cleaned and dried the day after I left them and in the meanwhile I could continue being on holidays. The breakfast is a must, diverse, rich, tasty and local!

There’re so many handmade dishes for breakfast.
The kettle in the kitchen should be changed. It’s too old.

Homely feel in a farm with close access to pseudo craters. Tasty ice cream and breakfast.

Location was great and everyone was very friendly
Quality of towels and pillows is very low. Common toilets don’t have ventilation of any kind,
