That it was on the Lava fields

It's the second time I stayed at Hlid Huts for its exceptional location. The huts are clean and cozy and feature comfortable beds with crisp bedlinen. They have good heating and a kettle and are located right at the edge of the absolutely stunning lava field. While the shared bathrooms are across the road, it's not too far and manageable and both, the toilets and showers are well heated, comfortable and clean. The shared kitchen is only a short distance away, well equipped, sunny and right next to the lava field.

Sitting on that verandah of the little hut looking over the lake and mountains waa so beautiful.

The location is very pleasant, the staff is friendly, and the view is lovely.
The houses were not adequately heated, as it remained cold indoors even with the heater on. There was a limited number of electrical outlets, with only one available in the cabin due to the other being occupied by the heater. This presented a challenge for charging multiple devices commonly used during travel. It might be suitable for a single night's stay.
