The quiet location but still very near the town was exactly what we were looking for, especially for our disabled daughter who likes her lie in the morning!

Fantastic.

Absolutely fantastic property. Clean and tidy, very well presented, facilities at the property are first class. Quiet location but easy walk into town, which has plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants. Also a great location for exploring the surrounding areas. John and Betty are superb hosts and couldn't do anymore for us.

Home from home had a lovely stay and hopefully will be back

Everything ticked all the boxes. John and Betty were great hosts and very helpful. The house has everything you would ever need and more. Cleanliness 10/10 beds comfort 10/10. Kids loved it and it was ideally located for us to travel and see the attractions in Kerry

What a wonderful house! An absolutely perfect base to stay and visit family from!

Very clean, extremely well equipped. Betty came out to meet us and gave us a thorough introduction to the house and amenities. Good parking area, easy walk into town. So comfortable. Each bedroom had its own bathroom which made mornings so much easier! Accessible bathroom for those with mobility issues was very welcome! Excellent communication with Betty before, during and after our stay.

Immaculate

House was spotless and well equipped. Bed was extremely comfortable and sheets were 5 star hotel standard. Great location to tour Kerry. The centre of Listowel is within walking distance. Hosts very helpful and live in adjoining property. The house has its own private outdoor space to sit out when weather is good.

Show home level stay!

Derry house is like a show home! The beds are the best I’ve ever slept in. the hosts Betty & John are very welcoming. The location is ideal, very quiet but still central to Listowel. The kitchen is very well equipped and the living areas are very comfortable. You won’t want to leave.

Gentle minor note: The shower temperature in the master bedroom needs looking at. There are plenty other showers in the property though so not a big issue.

We had a great time staying here! It could not have been better.

Location was great, hosts were great.

Shower temperature was very difficult to change in one of the bathrooms.

The best house Iv every stated it the couple are amazing friendly and so kind I will never stay at a hotel again if this house is available when I’m next in Kerry will be booking this house from now on

We felt like we were at home.

The house was amazing and had everything we needed, the only thing that did not make it feel like home was a tv in the bedroom. But that is the American in us. LOL!!!! The views were beautiful and it was nice and quiet. Had no problem sleeping. I would highly recommend Derry house do anyone I know going to Listowel.

There is really nothing we didn't like. The only improvement I can suggest is TV's in the bedrooms, but again that is an American thing.

Betty & John were very welcoming, the house was spotless, it had all mod cons and lots of parking.

The location was perfect: very quiet, just 1.5 kms from town, wheelchair friendly, extremely comfortable...

A bigger teapot - but I’m scraping the barrel!

Lovely relaxing stay with our little dog

Betty and John are lovely and welcoming. The house has everything you need and is clean and comfortable. The beds are lovely and I slept well every night. The garden is absolutely huge and our dog had such a lovely time pottering in and out all day. Very safe to leave the dog out as the house is at the end of a cul de sac so there are no cars about. The town is about a 20 minute walk away and Ballybunion beach is a 20 minute drive (if you're lucky to get the weather). We had a lovely relaxing stay and hope to go back some day.

Everything was exceptional, especially John and Betty they went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. 10 out of 10 will definitely be recommending Derry house to family and friends. House was spotless, beds were extremely comfy, and there is nothing we would change.
