The location was perfect. Minutes walk from Muckross Abbey and Muckross House. Short drive to Torc Waterfall. You can also book a Gap of Dunloe tour with the hotel for $85 that includes shuttle to/from hotel including jaunting car ride to the Gap and Lake Killarney boat ride. The food and drinks at Colgan's, one of the on-site restaurants, were excellent and they even had live music. We got a two bedroom apartment and the bedrooms were so spacious, each with their own bathrooms. The whole apartment felt luxurious. Highly recommend.
We were there for 3 nights and it felt too short.

Beautiful property away from the chaos of the town traffic. Nice and quiet.
Couldn’t figure out how to turn the coffee maker on and ended up turning off fridge while having food inside.

Ideal for families to stay at the Reserve, hotel was amazing easy access to all facilities, great night of delicious food and live music at Colgans bar, my husband and I took turns at use of Adult only Vitality suite which was absolute heaven
There was no pool our children could use, but the staff were so helpful to suggest a local pool they could visit. The kids were disappointed about this but got to swim at the beach at Inch Strand which was amazing
