The hotel is great. The room is small and crowded but beautiful. The bed super comfortable and the air conditioner is amazing. We were there during the hottest days in the history of Paris and the hotel was a wonderful escape from the heat. There's an elevator, which was also great.
The staff was incredibly helpful, both in getting us cabs, recommending restaurants and helping us with our bags. They recommended that we book the hotel's private pool and sauna, which was a lovely respite before dinner, and they brought us cocktails.
Another thing that was great were the curtains, they really blocked the light outta so we were able to sleep in the morning.
The neighborhood is OK, and we like walking so it would have been fine if it hadn't been so hot. It's a 20 minute walk to the edge of most things we wanted to do so in the heat that was more of a problem than it would have been otherwise.
The bathroom is pretty dark, even with all the lights on. That's a pet peeve of mine. Not great for make up and getting ready.

It was in a great location. The hotel was interesting and had some history and a little spa facility.
The bed was uncomfortable with very thin soft pillows and a bad mattress. The rooms were very small and the bathroom didn’t feel clean. The staff were friendly but very slow. Breakfast was expensive and small
