We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Kalemi 2. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Gjirokastër’s historic old town, within easy walking distance of the castle, restaurants and bars. Walking through the old town at night was one of those experiences that stays in your memory forever.
The hotel staff were extremely kind and welcoming, and you can feel their hospitality from the moment you arrive. Our room was beautiful, very comfortable and full of charm, and the breakfast was delicious.
Our only regret is that our stay was so short. We would have happily stayed longer. We recommend Hotel Kalemi 100%.
Nothing negative to mention. Everything about our stay was a great choice.

I would highly recommend this place for location and the view from the room. We regret staying there for just 1 night. Amazing castle view from the room. Very close to the old town and the castle. Good breakfast as well. Staff were very friendly.

Breakfast was ok. Location was quite good, interesting to stay in historic building, lots of tvchannels
Bathroom was stupidly small. We could hear everything going on in the reception, as well as the dreadfully repetitive music from the bars outside, two silly rooms with different height floors that were poorly decorated, no curtains inbedroomso we had to close the shutters and put lights on,
