We absolutely loved our stay at Stitch & Stone Suites! The hotel is so charming, and our room was incredibly clean and comfortable. The bed was the perfect balance of not too firm and not too soft, the linens felt fresh, and we were even given fresh bath towels for our second night.
What really made our stay special, though, were the owners. They were so kind and helpful throughout our entire visit and truly went above and beyond for us. When our rental car was delivered, the husband even met the rental car company for us, drove the car back, and parked it nearby so we didn’t have to navigate the narrow streets through town ourselves. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made everything so much easier.
Breakfast is served at the cutest little café just across the street and was absolutely delicious. It was such a lovely way to start each morning.
Everything about our stay felt welcoming, comfortable, and well cared for. We would absolutely stay here again and would happily recommend Stitch & Stone to friends visiting Gjirokastër. Five stars!
Nothing! It was perfect!

The design of the room, location in the old area, and friendly staff
The parking was initially tricky as no spots were available, but it got sorted quickly

Stitch and Stone was a true find. We only stayed one night but this wonderful small bed and breakfast made our stay. Housed in an ancient stone building, the owners have converted their floor of the building with beautiful contemporary finishes that completely compliments the building itself. And, the views! Stunning! Location is also wonderful, walkable to all. Breakfast was wonderful too
There was nothing we didn't like. Just beware, there are stairs to climb to reach the unit and there are no additional facilities.
