The hotel is absolutely beautiful. The view from the terrace is amazing, and the pool area is very elegant and comfortable. Although the pool is not particularly big, it never felt crowded. Whenever we wanted to relax by the pool, there was always enough space to lie down, enjoy the sun, and simply relax.
The rooms were lovely and very comfortable. One of the things we appreciated the most was the location. The hotel is very close to Gjirokastër Castle and even has direct access through the pool area, so it literally takes about two minutes to reach the castle. Since the historic part of Gjirokastër is quite compact, you can also easily walk from the hotel to the old town and explore everything on foot.
We also have to mention the food in Gjirokastër! We had some of the best meals of our entire trip through Albania here. There are many amazing restaurants within walking distance, including Furra, which was recommended to us by the hotel. The risotto there was absolutely delicious! Honestly, everything we tried at the different restaurants in Gjirokastër was excellent.
Breakfast at the hotel was also delicious, especially the homemade biscuits and cakes, and the staff were extremely kind and welcoming throughout our stay.
Overall, we really enjoyed our time here. It is a beautiful and peaceful hotel with wonderful views, a great location, and a lovely atmosphere.
There was nothing in particular that we didn’t like about the hotel. However, one important thing to keep in mind when arriving by car is to use Google Maps rather than Waze for directions to the hotel.
Apparently, several one-way streets have recently been introduced in the area, and at the time of our stay, these changes were reflected correctly on Google Maps but not on Waze. Following Waze can therefore lead you up very narrow streets in the wrong direction, which can be quite stressful, especially with cars coming downhill.
There is a perfectly manageable route to reach the hotel by car, so using Google Maps should help you avoid any unnecessary difficulties. Other than that, we had no complaints at all!

Absolutely everything. Staff were super friendly and accommodating letting us check in early with a welcome drink. Parking on site and gorgeous views. Ideal location super central to everything. Pool area was stunning. Rooms were spacious spotless and super comfortable.

Excellent base for exploring Girokaster with private parking. Pool terrace beautiful and great for a relaxing end to a day exploring the town .

Amazing hotel which we highly recommend. Superbly located for the castle and the town with both being a few minutes walk away. Staff were fantastic, breakfast was great and thr pool is lovely. Was a nice temperature even though it was only the end of May.
