The provate room was really nice and clean, comfortable bed, really good value for money.
The location was rather far away from the main spots to visit so I always needed to take a bike or public transportation to visit somewhere, the staff were really friendly, the others could improve a little bit.

The staff are amazing and the place is clean. The guests are respectful and I loved my stay. I will be back! I also met some great people in the common area. One of them even fed me 😄

The location is great. There's a really great common room that's big and comfortable. The beds are super comfortable and the upper bunks have very easy steps leading you into the bed.
The staff are phenomenal and so helpful! I would definitely come back!
The first dorm room I was given smelt really strongly of damp and mold. The ceiling has mold spots on it. When I said to reception they immediately put me in another dorm and it was perfect! No bad smell and super clean.
Also there was a really creepy guy in the common room area. I was in there at 1am on my 1st night but had to leave as he kept hovering around me and staring at me, moving to wherever I went. That's not the fault of the place of course but maybe have some anti sexual.harrassment signs might help.

The inn is located in South Kaohsiung. It's right next to the MRT station, and 2 stops from Kaohsiung main station (10'). It's next to loads of shops, some restaurants and coffee shops.
The shared area is nice and eclectic, and allows you to meet other travellers.
The kitchen is fully equipped with ustensiles and amenities, if you chose to make your own food.
The staff is very nice, however, they speak very little english. They are helpful, and will explain the surroundings areas.
The bunks are pretty clean and there is AC.
The shared spaces, especially the bathrooms, are not always clean. It has very prominent mould, and is not kept clean. It needs more than a few cleans a day. Especially the female bathroom. This might be due to the fact that shoes are allowed through out the inn, and people wear shoes inside the common areas, including the bathrooms.
There is no space to lock your bags, even in the rooms. There is a small lock, that could potentially fit your computer. The room is quite small, only a corridor, with bags lying around. It also has no windows, which can tend to feel claustrophobic.
