A great apartment - very clean, comfortable and well stocked to cater for ourselves. This was the second time we stayed in these apartments but we had a different one this time. It was one on the 4th floor and the stairs are quite narrow with winders. There is no lift, so if you lack mobility to get your luggage to the 4th floor then do not book this apartment. There was a small veranda where you could sit. It is central in the old part of Reykjavik and we enjoyed exploring. We found a Bonus supermarket store quite close so we could use this for meals. There was also a launderette within walking distance that we needed to use.
The only reason I haven't given a 10/10 is because of the lack of a lift. Otherwise it is a great place to stay.

Location fantastic lovely view from bedroom & lounge room. Cosy warm atmosphere short walk to church, opera house & Sun voyager. Modern facilities fridge microwave & hairdryer. Unit exactly like pictures.

Quick response for any inquiry before the trip and staff at the first floor Thai restrant are very friendly.
Very nice location for sight seeing and shopping within the city including supermarket, 5 min walking distance from tour pick up and several city bus route.
Room is very big and comfy and well equipped. Heating tile floor is very confortble for cold morning.
Nice to have a little bit better quality towels and maybe wahing machine.
Need curtains or blind at hallway window because you can see shower room entrance from outside at room #202.
Can't avoid outside noise because this hotel is facing main shopping street but you can hear loud voice middle of the night.

The apartment is in a very central location so we could explore the town on foot. The beds were okay, the shower was great (ignore the sulphuric smell!). Checking in was easy.
Parking in front of the building is free, but only from 9 pm to 9 am (weekends differ). Use the Parka App to find parts of town close by (5 min on foot) for free parking! It worked well for us.
The furniture was rather sparse and a little funky. The kitchen was fully equipped, but while there were a lot of plates, we found only two bowls. The single-paned windows let the weekend party noise in, which didn’t result in a good night’s sleep (we stayed on the second floor).
