Good location for short stay

Location, good local restaurants.

Collection of keys was not close by, approx 10 mins by car, not walking distance - other side of the lake. Bed too soft now.

Good and bad

Great position for pubs and eateries. Easy access to routes for galleries, Floriade and sightseeing. Unit was well equipped. Very quiet building with secure parking.

The sofas were very uncomfortable for all our group. Having to collect and return keys across the Commonwealth Bridge to Kingston. The trip added an hour to our home trip on checking out to return keys.

Superb

Contemporary styled apartment with loads of light in a great location in Braddon. Very secure building and undercover secure parking. Loved the little bonus room (study) as it was a great area to store bits and pieces away from the living space. Very good appliances, pots and pans etc which makes it suitable for an extended stay.

A very comfortable apartment,close to shops and restaurants.

very central, spotless and with great amenities.

The only thing that was a bit of a hassle was picking up and dropping off the key but the instructions were good.

Exceptional

Apartment quiet, clean, bright and spacious, with great kitchen facilities, decent sized bathroom/shower and bedroom. European Laundry had washing machine/dryer. Excellent security for parking and getting to/from your apartment, either from street or through the car park. Walking distance to both main street and large shopping complex/eateries.

The mattress was way too soft, making you sink into it, and the bottom sheet wasn't a fitted sheet, so it became all wrinkled/not tucked in as soon as you touched it. The mattress protector wasn't fitted, and so its elastics sprung off the mattress corners and under the crumpled sheet as well.

My family stayed 2 nights for family trip. It was so clean and tidy. I was so impressed that dish washer liquid and washing machine powder was prepared. I will stay one more time if I have a chance to go to Canberra.

It was great to stay here and we will definitely be back!

It is very good location, nearby many restaurants, short distance to Parliament House, Canberra Centre, Australian War Memorial, Lake Burley Griffin and Australian National University. The apartment is clean and bright.

Clean, modern, light-filled apartment in a great location.

The apartment was clean and very close to great cafes and restaurants, as well as central Canberra. It was also really warm, even in a very cold Canberra winter. The apartment was very modern and equipped with everything we needed. It was north facing so very sunny and bright inside. Not too much road noise even though on a main road.

As it was in a residential apartment complex, we had to pick up and return the key from a shop 10 mins drive away. We had a car so it was okay, but this would be a problem for people who did not.

Excellent accommodation, love Canberra, but as for key collecting, well……

The collection of keys was a nightmare. We assumed the collection point would have been close to premises we were staying in not 6-7km away. A unit no. was given which took 10 minutes to find, even taxi driver was puzzled. To return keys was given as a different address but turned out to be same building on a different corner of the building. For two 80 year olds, totally unacceptable. Accommodation itself was great, excellent facilities but some other means of collecting/returning keys needs to be put in place.

The above states all we didn’t like.

Excellent, modern, clean apartment, but key collection and checkout needs to be improved.

Apartment was modern, clean, great location near supermarket and restaurants, parking provided, all an excellent standard in a great part of the city.

Only downside was the key collection and drop off, which was located on the other side of the city, with no way to collect keys locally. If we hadn't had a private vehicle and lots of extra time this would have been impossible for us. This added a lot of time and stress to checking in and out for us, as we had originally booked this location specifically to avoid busy city driving!

Everything was great EXCEPT collecting and returning the keys from a different location was very disappointing as it was a 15 minute drive between the 2 locations which when you are unfamiliar with Canberra was an extra headache to navigate. The very least on departure we should have been able to leave the keys in the apartment. Driving south to drop off keys then drive north again to drive home added an extra half hour to our journey. Would probably not book again for this reason alone.
