If you like a self catering vacation in Rome, Vittoria Charme is a nice place to stay. It is very closely to Piazza Barberini (110 m), within walking distance from Fontana di Trevi and excellent connections with hop-on hop-off and local busses and with subway. The relaxing bed and the air conditioning is brighten the day.
The request to complete the check-in and to pay the tourist tax came a little bit late: we were at the boarding gate. It will be better to send it 24 hours in advance.

Местоположение великолепное. Близко к центру города и к вокзалу, что немаловажно, если вы путешествуете на поезде.
Владелец квартиры Андреа- невероятно отзывчивый, гостеприимный и душевный человек. В квартире было все необходимое для прекрасного пребывания в Риме. Ты можешь почувствовать себя жителем города.

Very central and very well equipped lovely pad. The self check-in and access process was a bit cumbersome but good in terms of not having to meet the owner for check-in / checkout given our late arrival and very early departure. Everything was clean and there were 2 curtesy water bottles in the fridge, which was appreciated. Very good!

- Location is decent, little over 5min walk to the top of Spanish steps and under 10min to Fontana di Trevi, and one minute from Barberini metro.
- Standard is ok, room is fairly spacious.
- The best days of this property are gone, the golden paint of the furniture is peeling off, the bathroom is no longer sparkling clean. The bed rather soft and not the most comfortable to sleep on.
- It's on the ground floor and seems to have had a direct entrance from outside, which is no longer used - however that door remains the only source of outside light - so the room is super dark even in the middle of a sunny day and you pretty much have to keep the lights on all the time.
- It's managed by a company or agency - all communication is online, but compared to other places where I stayed and it worked like this it was quite slow and not entirely reliable.
- If you find the location convenient and only come back for the night then perhaps it's an option but I'll look for something else next time I'm in town.
