Felt like a home away from home
If you’re looking for a space away from the busy touristy areas and need a quiet calm place to rest then Isana will be the perfect place for you.
From the room we had a beautiful view of the beach. It was magical to wake up to the sounds of ocean waves
Enjoy a sunset walk along Mawella beach to other restaurants.
Everyone’s supper friendly and feels like you’re apart of a small community
Highly recommend fresh coconuts at the beach front

A quiet sanctuary yet quite central to other towns if you’re want to do a day trip
Hotel can easily organise a tuk tuk or car ride to Matara, Yala, Singharsha, Mirissa or Galle.
All in pretty close proximity

Very good breakfast served on the veranda overlooking the beach . Very friendly relaxed staff , and ideal location with direct access to a beautiful quiet beach through a gate at the end of the garden .
The room I was in could have done with a curtain over the window of the glass door onto the corridor and curtains rather than wicker blinds. It wasn’t a big problem if going to bed later as all lights were out , but a bit light if having an early night! Just a suggestion . But generally a fantastic place.
