I love love loved my stay here, so much so I stayed an extra night. I did yoga twice and it was traditional hatha, well led with great explanations of everything. I learned so much. The breakfast was over the top, and the staff in charge was extremely helpful and accommodating, arranging dinner by request, giving travel information and just an all around lovely huge. I do hope he gets a day off every now and again because he goes above and beyond and always seeks to be available, all times of day. The location is a bit tricky for tuk tuk drivers to find and there is a similarly named Kandy Eco Lodge in town which I got dropped off at and then had to pay another driver to bring me to the correct one…bit you can also easily walk to places if you don’t mind a 30 to 40 minute trek. I’m actually sad I have to leave and if I was staying longer in the country, I’d stay a couple more days.

The yoga space is amazing/ so many birds.
Unfortunately there is a gym down the road which plays blaring thumping music as early as 6am. And so this spoils the retreat vibe.
