This is a very peaceful property, set within beatify gardens. My room was big as was the en suite. Breakfast was a treat - care was meticulous regarding food intolerances. It’s a perfect place to stop a while if travelling the NC500. I would definitely stay again.

The host was most delightful and attentive to our comfort. The historic house was wonderfully updated without sacrificing any of its historic richness. The bedroom was spacious, the bathroom was thoroughly modern, the was bed comfy, the breakfast was tasty, and the location was perfect for us. Because restaurants are few and far between in this area of Scotland, we used the guest kitchen for dinner one evening. It was more than sufficient and sitting at the table, we had a sense of timelessness. With beautiful gardens around the house and a fantastic beach only a short walk away, we couldn't have asked for more. We'd love to go back for a much longer time.
