The room was clean and spacious and the owner was very helpful. Location is great.

The room was comfortable, clean and quiet considering it is on a road. The Church House doesn’t offer food but is very close to a pub which serves good meals including breakfast which is also available from the pub deli which opens at 8.30am.

The location was great for us to get to Windermere & Scarfell pike on our weekend long visit. The room was comfy; even though its located on a main road we slept so well even with the window open - the bed was super comfy! Shower was brill and the air fryer microwave was useful. Very generous with the tea station and the kitchen appliance made it so easy for us - very nice touch.
We expected 'the studio room' to be on the top floor inside the main building of some sort and not attached on the side with its own entrance Its a shame also that its no longer a pub :(

Good facilities
Level of noise from traffic as room on front and on main road. No double glazing and windows had condensation in the morning.
