Staff were so friendly and helpful, we would like to give a special mention to Manuela, the taxi driver, organised by the hotel. She looked after us so well during our visit for a family wedding, collecting us from Lisbon airport and taking us back and forth over 2 days. It made our visit to this rural hotel much easier. The hotel is fabulous, super comfy bed, and fantastic views from the terrace at the back overlooking the pool. The pool was lovely, we enjoyed a morning swim. Breakfast was continental style and was very tasty.
The glass toilet door and it felt quite dark as the walls are painted dark brown. But these are just personal preferences.

The room is modern and the bed is big and comfortable. Our room had direct access to the gardens and pool, which made the room feel even more spacious. Blackout curtains worked wonderfully and the air-conditioning in the room was a lifesaver.
The hotel grounds are beautiful but quite small, which is ideal for a romantic get-away, but can be challenging with an energetic toddler who wants to explore 😄
The restaurant and food was amazing, the staff is great, and this was truly a wonderful and memorable stay. The baby pool saved us every day, offering fun and playtime for our daughter.
The grounds were quite small and there was only a set of swings for children, apart from the outdoor baby pool. For a romantic get-away this hotel is perfect, but travelling with a toddler, we found it challenging. The hotel also doesn't offer lunch options, meaning you will need to leave the hotel every day to find lunch. This was a downside for us, since we would have been happy with a toast and soup option for lunch if it meant we could spend the whole day at the hotel.

The Restaurant
The fact, that the Spa Area is de facto a Sauna and a Whirlpool for which you need to sign into a List and if you are Lucky get a Slot. When you bring Kids, they need a Minimum age to enter it, but this Info you do not find on booking !
