Very d red notable overall

Roof top terrace had great views and bird song Garden/pool area very sheltered/private with excellent dining and cooking areas and lovely plantings Kitchen/living room nicely furnished

Bed linen was a bit tired in main bedroom Garage door on floor below was very noisy when being opened weekday mornings at c7 15am

Idyllic location, gracious hosts, well located, and good value!

Juan met us on arrival at the agreed time. He was very friendly and despite us not speaking Spanish, and him very little English, we communicated and had an excellent guided tour of the facilities. There was a guest book all in English and he also left contact details for his son who loves a few doors away and spoke perfect English. The Villa is secluded and beautiful, with parking available despite it being in a very traditional village with very narrow streets. Pool was perfect - did not need heating even for the babies. We travelled as two couples with a baby each and they provided 2 cots without hesitation. We learnt that one of the cots used to be Juan’s son’s from about 25 years ago! A nice touch. The terrace provided beautiful evening views over the valley, including watching the Swallows dancing in the sky and eating the flies! The outside kitchen was an excellent space, particularly as it meant we could dine in the evening without disturbing the babies and the baby monitors would still reach.

As mentioned in other reviews the upstairs has two double bedrooms which do not have walls completely to the ceiling. We therefore split one couple with baby upstairs, and the other downstairs so as not to disturb one another. We travelled in a heat wave with temperatures up to 37 celsius and although the upstairs rooms have aircon, downstairs only the lounge does, which meant we had to work really hard to keep the south facing bedroom there cool, and kept lots of the blinds and shutters closed all day, and the door open in the evening to get cool air through. We therefore could not really use downstairs once the babies were in bed. Aircon in the downstairs bedroom would have been better, but really this is a minor point as the hosts cannot be expected to control the weather and it was very specific to having the babies with us!

Near perfect and a break from the norm

Great location on the edge of Selva, so easy to park, but still only 500m from the main sq with its cafe, bakery and restaurants. Away from the regular tourist traps. We sat in the square and watched a local wedding - best people watching ever, authentic Mallorca. House exceeded expectations, incredibly very well thought out. Hosts went the extra mile, the house is clearly a labour of love!

This is not a negative, but just our preference. . Our kids like to share a room, but the three rooms are all doubles - I’d add an extra single bed to one of the rooms instead of the sofa for flexibility. Like many visitors to Mallorca we’re cyclists, so access to the garage would have been a bonus, especially if you head out early whilst everyone else is still asleep, due to the bedroom walls not extending to the ceiling, sound does travel throughout.

Beautiful property in a lovely village.

The welcome was so warm, great hosts! Dropping us a freshly baked Mallorcan pastry on our second day.

Nothing. Oh, perhaps the local dogs barking quite a bit.

Wow, what a beautiful place

Everything .... What a beautiful and peaceful place, we couldn't ask for anything more. The villa was amazing and the owner was so friendly and welcoming on our arrive. Definitely a place to visit again.

Beautiful family stay

Beautiful house, lovely owners. Quiet local, close to local restaurants.

Only downside - no door on the downstairs bedroom, we had a baby with us, so everyone had to be quiet downstairs when the baby went down.
