The host was very welcoming and the room was lovely, it had gorgeous views across the fields and hills with plenty of animals and wild life to look at. Breakfast was plentiful, cereal, fruit, yoghurt, toast, jam and a full English which set us up for the day. The tour of Britain cyclists came through while we were there which was an added bonus.
We had the room with the free standing bath in which was great but it had a shower mixer which you had to hold to be able to take a shower, this was bit awkward and getting the correct temperature was a bit difficult, it could do with a overhead shower installing over the bath but we managed so no big deal, There are 3 pubs in the village not far apart which were all busy when we first went out and all advertised an 11pm bar, we preferred the Kings Head but when we left there at around 10.40pm to go to one of the other two closer to the B&B to have one last drink but they were both closed and all in darkness when we got there, this was on a Saturday! This says to me that there happy to make there money during the day/early evening but when it gets quieter later on they shut up shop, I am a great believer of, if you advertise your opening times then you stick to them no matter how quite it gets or how many cliental you have in.

Situated in a small village with 3 pubs and ice cream parlour and great views. Our room was clean and comfortable with views of baby cows and hares. The tearoom include a full English breakfast.

Only point of issue was the shower. Could do with an upgrade.

The main positives were that the owners and staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was freshly made and very nice, fresh fruit salad was provided. The bed was comfortable. Free parking just across the road and easy access to nearby towns. Several nearby inns to eat at in the evening.
The entrance hall was awful and created a poor impression. Various fitments in the bathroom were broken or coming off the walls. There was little spare room in the bedroom for suitcases. Surfaces were sticky.
