Breakfast & evening meals were very good. Location good
Bedroom still in process of being completed with paintwork behind wash basin incomplete, taps loose, wall plaster incomplete down edge adjacent to tiling in shower recess; wall tiling adhesive not wiped off vanity base unit door.
But most unusual was that the bedroom lead directly into WC/Shower room with no door; no privacy when using facilities!
Also, more serious, the Sherlock Room is accessed via 2no individual doors which appear to be supposed to be Fire Doors, one with automatic door closer chain, & smoke strip to edge but door held back by door stop, next door not fitted with door closer or smoke strips. This latter door allowed/restricted access from our room in a manner which caused an obstruction when leaving the landing outside of our room. This meant that you opened the door into a lobby, 1 x1m, then had to close it so you could exit the second fire door. This lobby gave access to our room and another. This means in the case of an emergency both sets of occupants could need to open this door to exit. I would be surprised if this meets Fire Regs.
