The property was very quiet and remote, the perfect place to switch off. The heated floors in the bathroom were fabulous and the room was warm and cosy to come back to after a day of walking. Above all, Richard was lovely! He is informative, friendly, welcoming and made a superb breakfast and packed lunch. All small details were considered from pre arrival contact/instructions, tea and coffee facilities in the room, snacks, fresh milk and juice in the fridge and a folder of local info.
Duvet wasn’t very cosy and the driveway gate was a bit of a faff as a solo traveller.

The owner gave clear instructions and recommendations. Free parking spot, clean and modern rooms. Big breakfast with tea/coffee selection in the room. Easy to find and a really nice place to stay.

We booked this last minute as we changed our plans to do the Yorkshire Three Peaks. We knew it was going to be compact but the space is used very well. We wanted an early start so we opted for the packed lunch option. However there was still yogurt and cereal for breakfast before we left.
The bunk beds aren't overly comfortable but they served their purpose.
